This is how I attached a reel to my recurve bow. I used a piece of wood, and square lashed it just below the grip. Will post pics later.

here are the pics i had to use a board because my recurve has an odd shaped handle and i did not want to buy one of those thread adapters that u set in to the bow handle

Cool Sterling, looks like that should work nicely... why wasn't there a fish on the end of that arrow in your video? ;D

i just fixd my pond so no fish in it :( but soon i will stock it with bait fish then put some catfish in it once the get nice and plentiful
-
Dont forget the Bream too! They will just spontaniously appear soon, at least that is the way it is here in AL. ;D
-
Never know when a walking catfish might sneak in in south MO. ;D

that's an interesting way to do it. i use the same rig, but i flatened a piece of pipe and bent it to fit against the back of my riser, then drilled a hole in it and bolted the reel onto it. mine sits center on the back of the bow though, i like the offset on yours, that might work better. might try that this summer. what do you shoot? gar? or carp?
-
both in texas we cant shoot game fish so gar carp and buffalo is all we have to shoot at
-
yeah i dont think you can shoot them here either, but i havnt ever seen any carp where i shoot at, so its gar and trying to hit mullet lol.
