I finished up that bi-face and made a couple more Pine trees. :o
The bigger tree is some kind of Tn chert, Ft. Payne I think. ??? The little one is Carter Cave flint from NE Ky.

that dovetail is really nice,looks real thin too
i really like that larger pine tree,the color on the tip realy sets it off 8)

Tim, that dove is about 3/8" thick. It's 5" long and 2-1/4" wide, about the biggest thing I've made so far.
That biggest pine tree was the top half of a broken bi-face. I've been recycling a lot of broken stuff lately.

i cant seem to make a point to save my backside as of late :'( :-[
tomorrow i will try waste flake points and see what i can do ;)
