This is the only one I've done in a true sunburst pattern-not too hard, start with the lighter colors then fade the darker in.

thats a sweet lookin dye job. ill have to attempt that sometime. i have some red, and black leather dye, would i just lay down the red on the whole limb.. let dry, then go over with the black for the tip and handle area?

thats really cool how do you fade one colour in to the other like that??
-
you can use acetone to wash it, or just a rag with most of the stain used up, if that makes sense ???

This is a gorgeouis bow. any interest in giving us a full draw for Bow of the Month fun?
-
Don, that one already won bow of the month several years ago. ;D

Be sure to so a few samples on scrap wood before you end up having to dye your bow black. ::) :o
Don't ask how I know! ;D

Haven't posted in a long time on here but had to add another sunburst bow. I built this one for the first ABC contest, back whenever. Still the humdinger it was back then.:)
