Hey guys,
Here are some more bird points for ya'll's enjoyment. The first pic has a nickel in the center for size comparison, but I removed it in the second pic because it was reflecting pretty bad. A lot of these points are not perfect and I made them that way so they would have a more "abo" look. For some reason I find those kinda crude and imperfect points captivatingly beautiful. Could I make my points perfectly symmetrical? Sure! Does making them perfect mean they are more effective? Of course not. It only takes more time to make them. So I take a bit of an "Ahhh....that's good enough" approach. These points are all very sharp and would be perfectly capable of bringing down a deer. The really colorful point at the 6 o'clock position is made of mook jasper. Hope ya'll like them....

Nice little points Billy.
What they are saying about the "scrap pile" at Pappy's is no joke.
Pack up 10- five gallon buckets and come visit us at the Tn. Classic this year.
Pappy has been trying to get rid of some of that stuff for some time now.

I would love to! Everyone keeps telling me about the classic and how fun it is, but not having the time and especially the $$ really limits what I can do at this point. I'm also in school, doing an internship AND working (although I haven't worked in 6 weeks), so I won't have much time. I also just got my hours at work cut in half, so now I'm only working 10 hours a week!! Ouch! Thank god I had some successful grandparents who left behind college funds for me and both my brothers that we can use to live while we're in school.
I'll try to make it to the Classic this year but I can't make any promises.
