nope it makes me feel good to give a bow to somebody wanting to get started, it may just take me a little time to get it made. when i get close to starting ill get all your info, draw lenght, how many pounds you want, ect... i give away more bows than i sell, and i feel better bout that than selling one. should be able to get it to ya before to long.

Yeah, for sure, kudos to you guys for your outstanding generosity! You humble me. Oh, by the way, I'm looking for a couple pounds of pure gold, but the catch is I only have about $80. I'm only 40, so it's hard to scrounge up much dough...

And this is what trad/prim archery is all about.
Brings back memories of the old days when a father, grandfather, uncle, or a good friend gives you a bow that you will never forget.
-
You guys are simply the best. I love reading these threads where someone is willing to just give somebody a bow. It really shows where your hearts are and what your real passion is. I too was gifted a bow from someone here and I think they are just the greatest.
This is a great place to be on many different levels.

In most indigenous cultures folks are judged by what they give away not by what they accumulate. Good to know we are keeping that spirit alive.
-
Hey, I'd like to get in on this too. I have some cool brown osage for the tip overlays.

Sounds to me like he is gonna need a good skinning knife as well, to go with the bow. Gotta clean those animals! I'll be happy to get one out to the youngster if some one would like to send on some info.
