Hey guys! I just finished these 2 arrows last night. I recieved all the materials from PartCherokee (Thanks Again) in a trade. These are my first attempt at arrows so any comments and pointers would be apreciated. I already know of a few things I will do different from now on. The shafts are cane. The fletchings are goose tied on with sinew. The points are obsidian that PartCherokee knapped.
I think these two are just gonna be decorations. I really like the way they look.

use one as decoration and get some blood on the other one. They look great man. Good job! :) -josh

Riley,
Great arrows man.....I'd shoot 'em! I shoot my bows with a bare bow hand so when I wrap the front end of my fletch I go from the shaft up onto the quill.....only cause that way the old man don't get one stuck in his paw. Like I said I'd shoot 'em just like they are, well done!

yeah if you shoot off'n your knuckle you might want to wrap the front of those feathers down a bit more so they transition into the shaft better. Otherwise when you shoot the quill might end up in the back of your 1st finger knuckle. Ive seen it happen before. :) -josh

Good job! Around here, traditionally, people hang an arrow above the front door.

Very nice, shoot them at least once, they deserve it, then decorate with them. Those are very nice looking arrows.

Nice arrows and ready to make meat! 8) ...but do wrap the forward end of the feathers so you have a smooth transition. Your hand will thank you for it. ;)

Thanks for all the comments and advice. I did wrap the fletching down the arrow. Hopefully it will be enough. we will find out soon.
Thanks again

Very authentic look,
Like the way you wrapped your points,
now you can work on your nocks a bit,
study other self-nocks, wrap them for additional strength,
good looking arrows:)
was looking around for some good vids
on self-nocks to throw your way,
came across this cool video,
check it out-
