So I recently just got into archery ;D. I bought a compound bow and got to practicing. Well my daughter has become very interested in the whole thing and I thought I might try making her a bow. Originally I was just going to get a stick and put a string on it and call it good. I got to looking around the web and found this site and I am initially hooked. I really want to try making her a respectable bow, and then try out my skills to build myself a bow. I know from looking at the posts that this is not an easy feat, but it looks challanging and fun. Could somebody give me some good tips on where to get started. Are there any particular threads that could show me step by step in detail how to begin this process. How about tools to use, book to read as resources. Basically I want to know where to begin and where to end. Thanks for your help

Thanks all for the links. This will give me somewhere to start. I am sure I will be asking many more questions as I get going.
