I chipped these out for David Knight.
They ain't real pretty, but I was looking for function rather than form.
Sharp, thin and pointy ... ::) I knew a girl like that once. ;D
They weight 113, 135, 113 and 109 grains. I like the 135 best.

Had some blood drawn to test for Lymes and such. I been so weak today, I doubt I could pull a greased string from a chickens butt :D

Those are real Handsome points MR. :)
-
im with peted i would like to know what type of rock that is (beautiful points by the way) and where we can find some
-
Ken, that's Sonora flint from Kentucky. It comes in nodular form and is quite scarce. It only occures in a very small area in Hardin county Ky and that area has been picked over heavily for 30 or so years. These days, if you spend a day looking and come away with a 5 gallon bucket full of hunting point size pieces, you done well...very well.
It's good rock, but hard to get.

Those are fine looking points Shannon! I've still got the cane arrow with glass point you gave me last year. Plan on having it in my quiver waiting for the right opportunity! ;)
