help me with my tiller please?im almost done i think but dont have a real sting for low brace and full brace.anyways where is it bending too much and where not enough, and should i put an arrow shelf on it when its done?
-
it would be way easier to tell where it is bending and not if we could see the pics! ;D
In my opinion, no you should not put an arrow rest on it. It is not necessary.

Looks to be bending well. Maybe a little stiff right off the right fade. Try pulling a bit farther and see what you have.

yea its hard to tell now you aint goe much bend now, you are far from done, send some pics of it bout 22 24 inches so we can see some bend in those limbs. i like a arrow shelf some dont.

i know it can be pulled to 22-24 inches im just afraid but i will taake a bit more off then pull to probly 18 then ill see how it looks and then ill bring it to 22 or 24

It's not really bending enough to tell yet. Also, don't muck around with that long string too much! Get 'er bendin' enough to get a short string on it, and then you can really tell what's goin' on. ;)

It would be best to have a tillering tree with a scale in line to see the weight before pulling it to far. You don't really want to pull it to 24" and it be at 65# when you're after a final weight of 45#. It does look like it is probably ready to brace it with a short string.
