Title: Using Gemsbok horns

Im making a asiatic composite bow and i was wondering if anyone knows how to prepare the horn with hand tools only

I've hand cut gemsbok horns lengthwise many times with a handsaw.  PIA.  Next time I will use a friends bandsaw.
