just wondering how the notching is done on calf creek points...is it punch notch or pressure flaked..and where are they from...i have herd utah and northern texas....but,i really dont know...john

I think most of them were punched,at least most guys that make them nowadays almost always punch them. They are a very widely distributed point dating to the middle archaic age. Several sites around Ok. is mentioned alot.

I have one original in my collection but both ears are broke off,and I have another "ear" that my motherinlaw found,They are a cool point.
