For those of you that make your own could you post a picture or give a description of have you made it, I was planning on using my bow stringer but its just to small on one end. Thanks.

I use a very long flemish twisted string with about 16 or so plies of B50. I have a loop on one end and make timber hitches for the other.

It's jsut a piece of parachute cord. It has a loop knot at one end and a timber hitch at the other. Lasts indefinately and it took a gradn total of thirty seonds to make ;D.

sam harper has a decent string build along. i also use a flemish loop on one end and a timber hitch on the other. remember its adjustable so don't tie it too long when tillering. its harder to see flaws with a really long string. should hang down an inch or two.

Boy was I getting ready to over think this, thanks guys, you saved me a bunch of time !!. Craig

For the long string I use sash cord. For tillering I use old bow strings. Jawge
