No, Paul. It's Coastal Plains Chert, from around the town of Flint River, Ga.

Looks like something I need try out one of these days. just looks like that coral you sent me awhile back.

Wayne if you need any help unloading any let me know 8) Piper gave me a couple peices at the dade City knap-in and I really like it ,makes a nice point.Have fun in Ga. its gonna be hot as a poker,you could heat treat that rock by driving down the road

I'm going to attempt to get one of these kilns in the shop wired up right. Tired of tending a fire in the pit all day. Then I can cook em whole and not waste so much to raw spalling, hmm - might as well get one of them saws while I'm at too ;D.

I've seen Kilns destroy a lot of nice coral.

Yup, if I ever do get the thing wired it'll be new ground for me. Imagine I'll be doin a lot of experimenting for awhile ::).
