Or should I have it bending more before I ask?

Thanks alot, guys.

Looks pretty thick. Don't force it. Looks like it needs to bend more from mid limb on to the nocks. Jawge
-
Yes sir, she's thick. Gonna go work on that right now.
I'll be back, Mr. Jawge.
Thanks.
-
Well, I rushed it.
-
oh no, that doesnt sound good. did it break? :-\
-
No, she didn't break. Just took too much off too fast, I think.
And now I got a couple inches of set.

Not shaping up too badly, although I notice that you're not in the nock on the left limb. Was that intentional? Don't worry about your poundage though, concentrate on your tiller. Even a light weight bow is still good. Great for shooting for form and learning.
-
Yeah, she's got a third nock. ;)
Piked it a little on the lower limb, left that lower nock for a stringer (of sorts. Actually just use my tiller string. Put it over my bow string in the upper limb, and my last nock in the lower limb).
Oh, and that 2" of set turned out to be mostly string follow. ::)
So I'll scrape her down some in the fades and see if I can get her down a little closer.
Thanks a bunch for the help.

Be careful on the left limb. Do you see where a hinge might be starting mid-limb?
-
So take wood off both sides of the hinge, right?
