Post by: mullet on May 17, 2009, 01:09:53 pm
I banged this one out a few days ago and the Monster is one that James Parker beat out in Tenn. at the Classic.

Nice one Eddie. That looks like you just pulled it out of the river 8)  What's that rock?
I got to watch James whoop that big 'un out.  If there's ever been a modern day cave man...it's him ;D

It's some of that tough old Texas rock, Shannon. Ol'James kinda looks like a cave man, too.

That's some nice work Eddie! And that big blade is well BIG ;D. Ryolite from NM, hmm - I've got a couple of pinkish rocks from there that kinda look similar. Now I'm gonna have to hit em :).

Thanks, I kind of got into a banging bug lately. I got tired of slabs and haven't beat on anything in awhile. Tim, it was tough, I'm always sore after that Texas stuff.  Roger, I guess I have been doing a few e-notches lately. Trying to get better at notching.
