Yumpin' Yinnimy, That's a pretty point, (I think I'd frame that one) I love everything about it,Material,workmanship,I especially like those long ,even flake scars. Is clay county the material or the point type ? Frank

I think I got it fixed for you, Curt. Nice point, great chippin', and a nice piece of Flint River. Is that lightly roasted?

that's an ugly point made out of even uglier flint river stone.....I think you need to send that point to me immediately...I'm the only one who can stand the ridicule of owning something so horrid-looking. ;)

Fishoonah... Clay County is the point type.Its what they call a Deep South point style.

Timo, it's Flint River chert (a variety of Coastal Plains chert) from Georgia. Great stuff, one of my favorite materials..

Yea, just now read that up top a few post.....getting old sucks sometimes? ;D Never tried that stuff, but it look really cool!
BTW I got a good lead on some knife river yestday. Time will tell. ;)
