I wasnt real proud of the fletching on my last Primitive arrow and finally broke the point so reworked it today and got a better job. Learned a bit more about primitive fletch preperation and instlalation. I also put pine pitch on all the sinue wraos for weather protection and to sort of seal and glue. I have got to get some foam matress material now for an arrow stop before shooting. Kenneth

Great lookin arrow! And I like those goose wing feather fletches....they look nice and sturdy. Now shoot it into a deer!

Thanks guys for the nice comments. Billy actually we are supposed to use steel broadheads here in Colorado, but if I actually got an elk this year and could get him picked up some how would love to do a penetration test with this arrow thru the ribs and one of my Ashby style trade points on a shoulder blade. Looks fine to me. It just needs a few friends to hang out with in the quiver.

They look good Kenneth. I also like the goose feathers....and your reading material! ;)

Looks good Kenneth! Are you going to carry that one in your quiver anyway ::). Nice job, is that point Dacite?

Cowboy, yep you are right the point is dacite. Yep again for carrying in my quiver, you can'thave too much medicine and I have never had too many arrows. Kenneth
