I'm getting ready to glue on some horn nocks on my BBM recurve and was wondering what kind of glue to use? I'm not sure what kind of horn they are as I got them in a trade, but the are a creamy white color.. and already pre- shaped I have some 2 ton epoxy?

Never tried it on ELB-style horn nocks, ,but I've glued a pile of tip overlays on with two-ton and never had one come off yet.

Well the horn tips are made for a recurve and are kinda flat. But I'm thinking the 2 ton epoxy might work. Only one way to find out!!!

It'll work well. Just rough both surfaces up a bit before you glue them.

2-ton epoxy has worked very well for me with both horn nocks and horn tip overlays. Superglue Gel works well for horn tip overlays, too, but the mating surface must be dead flat.

I've used 2 part epoxy and cyanoacrelates... both with good success. The super glue is good, cuz you can work the tip after only 10-15 mins.
