my old ones were getting in bad shape,so I made 10 new ones today going to put them to good use tonite :o

Mike, do you clamp those blanks down to a form when there green? Do you use any heat at all?

the wood i am using this year is about a year and a half old, this makes me 16 forms, when I get the last one filled its time to start over, man its hot today in tennessee,, might go fishing tomorrow  ;D

this is the kind of form I have always used,stole it from my mentor, gary davis,  the front is cut out to the amount of reflex you want, then screwed to a 2x6 this allows you to reflex and straighten at the same time, I have different amounts of reflex, and some that are wider for real crooked staves, some that are cut on a angle to take limb twist out, could not make bows without this tool ;D
