Nice looking, thin blade ,Mike. You Don't look too rusty to me. I just broke two nice Coral blades today :-\
-
:o :o :o I really like that
-
I wish we had some of that coral here... looks like some tough stuff. Hawk
-
Mike, heat treated it is real nice to work. But what is frustrating is it will be sooo perfect looking and there will be a hidden crack when you are almost finished.
-
nicely done hawk bit thin for boning out an elk though dont cha think? ;)
-
Yeah brother, I wouldn't use it on an elk... but will make a cool gift for a friend of mine when i get a deer antler handle on it.. I made some points for hunting out of that same glass last year and they are surprisingly tough ... stuck one in a tree while turkey hunting, a housecat was out in the woods hunting too close to me.. >:D got some hair off him but he narrowly escaped :'( Hawk..

i myself ive been thinkin if i saw a housecat id arrow it, up north theres plenty of feral cats to arrow
-
Looks good Mike! Thats a wicked lookin blade. Looks like you need to bust some more glass and keep em coming :).
-
Thanks Paul, I have lots of that material.. so will make soe more soon.. probably be a bunch of broken pieces for te rock garden by the time I finish :'( Hawk
