Hi,
this is a BL Longbow from 11/08. It's 67" long and 44#@27".
Limbs are 1,5 wide tapering down to 0,5 mm (don't know how much inch that is ???).
I'm thinking of shooting only bows with a drawweight about 45# because they are easy to shoot and very accurate.

Real good looking bow. Love those skinny tips. What kind of handle wrap is that?
-
It's a cow leather handle wrap - a long piece wrapped several times around the handle and fixed with superglue ;D
-
Nice work my man!!!!!!
-
Fine looking bow and what tiny tips. No black locust around here but cut a honey locust couple weeks ago - I'm inspired to give it a try.
-
I like that one alot and those are my kind of tips! ;)
-
Nice job! Those fine tips will make it very fast.
-
Great bow. Take a look at Gordon's thread on taking bow pictures...especially of the full draw. Got this fine bow bookmarked, too, for Feb Self BOM. Thanks for the posts.
-
Yeah, I know what you mean with the fulldraw and the backround - but it's the only place in my house where I can make a full draw picture with the selfphotooption on my camera ;D

Nice job...the tips espeacially look good! :)
-
Fine looking weapon.
-
Everything looks great. I never knew black locust would come out looking so much like osage. I figured it would be much browner.
-
nice bow,very thin tips :o 8)
question on them tips.
the photo that shows the side profile of the tips, looks like your
string groove goes all the way through the overlay and the back is angled, arent you afraid that
the tips will snap or is it just an illusion that the groove is all the way through
just curious,still like the bow
peace,
tim

Nice bow! I Want to try black locust too and I have one cut along with an oak. I also have a honey locust spied out too. Your bow is inspiring to say the least. Thank s for showing it.
