Now thats a sweet bow Pete, The tiller is perfect and with the little character kink that shows some real talent as a bowyer. Great relaxed profile and style for the bow is what I have come to prefer as a hunting bow. Congratulations Keenan

I just started on a wormy piece of hickory.Cutting down thru the back until I hit a clean ring.I thought I would try a D bow and after looking at yours,it's cinched. Thanks for sharing. That's a fine looking bow ! Frank

Thanks everyone for the kind words.I really appreciate this coming from such fine bowyers. This bow was actually a splinter off a large stave,(that was nearly a walkin' stick).I like to build whitewood bows a bit wider normally, but this piece was a sort of a test.I did heat treat the limbs, and I'm sure that's what peaked it out,but ,I won't hesitate to use narrow staves at all now. Thanks again, and God Bless
-
That is by far the nicest "D" bow I have seen in a long time. That looks like what I would call a perfect tiller for that bow. Congratulations on a really fine bow.
