Title: Proper way to make square tips??
Post by: Hrothgar on February 03, 2009, 10:15:35 pm
I'm finishing up an ash holmegaard, weight and tiller are good. Although I've never seen one of these up close and personal, I understand square tips are considered authentic. Does anyone know of a site with good pics of a finished tip?  Should the nocks still be filled in at a 45 degree angle? or should they be left completely square?
Thanks for any advice and info.
Philip
