I should call this one Turtle for as long as it's taken me. ::)
It came in around 45# at 28, I haven't checked yet (and may never) but I am pleased. The skins look good and I am very content with the tips. My leather work on the other hand could use some practice.

There is a bit of a gap at the top of the leather wrap. I am pretty sure this is a slight difference in depth on the handle from one end to the other.

Thanks JohnK
Not sure, it from some pieces my father in law gave me.
-
Thanks all. This one is kind of a mile marker for me, it's the first bow I have truly thought worthy of showing off.
-
Beautiful bow Skeeterbait. Nice character, and skins. But if I were you, I would be real careful with that bow.
Some of the people on this site, just might try to talk you out of it, and some of em could talk an Eskimo into buying an ice maker! ;D

pay no attention to stickbender >:D. the wood you used for your overlays is actually a toxic species called "givittameee" it is a close cousin and in the same family as "givvitup", "isle-takkett" and "awwyadnt-haftadothat". Just thought i'd warn you of what your dealing with there.
