That's a cool bow too! I've thought about doing a three-pc. several times, but I've never gotten around to it. When I do, I'm sure I'll be looking back at yours. Nice job! :)
-
Boy, you have been busy. I love the boo limbs too. Getting mighty fancy ain't ya? Pat

Pretty slick James :)

Great bow and a great example of practicality. Good candidate for Jan Laminate Bow of the Month

thanks oldbow

sweet!!! put my name down for a 62"er.
-
Very nice bow James.
I wrote an article for PA on just such a bow that I made a few years ago. Performance was amazing and it shot like a dream, as I'm sure yours does as well. It was a bit shorter than yours at 65" long. I've since made one that's 60" long using Bamboo backed Pau Ferro limbs.
-
Like it, bamboo makes it look special.
-
Interesting. I have to say three piece takedown bows are not my cup of tea but you did a nice job executing it. 8)

thanks marc, thanks ryano.ive been working on it for a while, giong for a 62,64,66"soon,and some recurve limbs, the most aggravating thing was making the jig for drilling, the riser and limbs. james

I'm not a fan of those big risers, but you make that one look good. It looks fast just sitting there, bet it'll really spit an arrow.
-
We'll talk about one of these next year James :)
