I woke up this morning and decided to document the life story of a dalton point. all went according to plan so thought I would share. remember, this is the complete life story of this point!
first- my tool, an elk billet and an elk tine, couple leather pads, abrader. and black coffee
second and thrid my material- dacite flake \spall, which ever you choose

start of reduction, no real story just pics in a row, you can create your own narration if you wish

closer to completion and final shaping and finally the tail notch.

and then the final result after bringing it in to show my girl friend and its hits the tile floor....my fault not hers, so she is allowed to live another day...soooo sad.. im still in mourning, it was a nice point.
