Black locust bend in the handle D-bow, 54 in. groove to groove, 48# @25". Heat treated belly. Fourth bow ever made.
Mulberry flatbow, 56" groove to groove, 42# @25", heat treated belly. First bow ever made.
What do you guys think about them?

Good looking bows. I like that snaky locust. Both of them have a lot of character, looks like he did a good job with some tough wood.

nice bows. He picked some tricky wood to start off with. I'll bet he learned a whole lot making those. Doesn't hurt having you for a buddy either ;)

For his 1st and 4th bows I think their incredible, especially when I look back at my 1st and 4th

Good job on some pretty difficult pieces of wood to work with. Look for more good looking bows from him in the future! ;)
