This awesome moose billet and these chunks of dacite and novaculite were amongst my gifts... Alright Christmas!
crazy how much bigger the moose billet is over my largest whitetail billet...

Oh man!! thats a nice one.. use your hammer stones as much as you can.. for edgein and stuff.. that will incease the life of your billits.. thats a really nice one you have there!!!

i'm not too worried about that. i've been playing with it and since this part of IL. doesn't have any stone i'm realizing it is a bit too big for any of the rock that i have which is pretty much none. the two pieces in the picture that were bought are huge in my eyes...

There is allot of rock in IL.. look around .. if none in your area.. than i know there is probably good rock within driving distance of you.. it only takes one trip.
