Sometimes you have to endure a little setback when you're out there on the edge going for it! Nothing ventured, nothing gained.  ;)

Set backs?, I sitin so far back, I think I've done fallen off the edge!  Too bad they broke.  At least you can make arrow heads out of them.  I made one little arrow head, out of a piece of thick obsidian, I was fianally able to get it down, to some what thin, or rather thinner than it was.  I thought I was going to get a decent sized arrowhead out of it, but it ended up like my usual, about a little over an inch long, by about 3/4 wide.  I didn't think it was very sharp, till after I was washing my hands, and noticed a bunch of little stings on my thumb, fingers, and hand.  Anyway, I thank you for showing your $#@@##@!! moments.  I don't feel quite so bad now, that I see even those that are accomplished knappers, have their $#@##@!! moments also.  I hope you are able to make some very nice arrow heads out of the left over pieces.
