The forshaft are oak.  I drilled a 1/4 inch hole in the cane and and the dowell and uses a 1/4 dowell to epoxy them together.  After setting up, I sanded the dowell down to match the shaft with a slight taper to the point.   Thanks.  Each arrow I make is getting better and better.

Look like proffesional quality, I had to doubletake to even see that they were cane. Nice arra's!
