Latest bow,and practice at postin' pictures
« on: July 16, 2008, 09:05:30 pm »
This is a little osage bow I built in june for a good friend in west Texas. We kinda went into a buisness agreement that he'd keep all the rattlers they kill on the lease he pumps(oil field),and I'll build him a bow. Here are the stats:
A primo piece of boisd'arc I cut in Feb. '06'seasoned in my shop.
65-3/4" tip to tip, 64-5/8" nock to nock.
 1-3/8" wide,from fades,2/3 out limb,then tapering to 3/8".
 tillered to 28 ", 51#
It started out with 3" of induced reflex and lost about half of that.
It's absolutely silent, fast, with no hand shock.
 Finish is tru-oil
 OK,here we go

Awesome!

What did you use for the gridlines behind your tiller tree??

Is that posterboard or what?
