hey guys, sorry I have'nt posted in a while, I have been to busy I guess. I was given some leg tendon sinew, it is rock hard and not processed whats the best way to do that.  I want to haft some points with it.  And also how do you get hide glue, into glue, I got some of that also, just mix it with water and heat?   Thanks a bunch

Pound the tendon with a big chunk of wood or something until the sheath comes off the outside, then just pull it apart into the size strands you want. With the hide glue, that's pretty much it. Mix it with cold water, then heat and stir gently. Don't get it too hot- a double boiler set-up or and old crockpot set on low works great.
