old broadhead brand
« on: June 19, 2008, 08:19:26 pm »
I recently received some old fixer-upper arrows that had 4-blade points with  "Black copperhead" stamped  on them. Was wondering if anyone has ever used these, impressions of them,  and who manufactured them.

How about some pictures?  It doesn't seem to be too old. Dr. Ashby used it in his penetration study in 1996.

I think a newer brand from a megastore uses "copperhead" also... these "slicers" evidently may have come in a serrated "ripper" version.
Marketing  to the old testosterone just a bit, weren't they >:D

If the pic doesn't take, I'll try from work tomorrow. My rinky-dink unit at home is killing me....
