Lost a very good friend yesterday to cancer. A lot here will know him and also anyone that has been to the Classic in the bow shop area especially. GregB . He fought a good fight but the cancer won, prayers and thoughts for his wife Linda and son Jordan. He will be greatly missed by me and a lot of good friends. Spent a lot of time with him around the fire and in the shop and deer woods.Rest in peace brother. Pappy

Eddie texted me this afternoon and told me about Greg's passing. Very sad indeed. Greg was one of the first Twin Oaks folks I met many years ago. He gave me a tour of Twin Oaks in the Gator showing me especially the barn with all the Osage and hickory stacked up there. I look forward to seeing Greg every year at the Classic and worked along with him many times in the bow shop.
RIP my friend. You will surely be missed.  :(

Yes he was a good man, having the funeral and celebration of life tomorrow so I am sure another sad day but also a lot of good stories and memories shared. :( I have always heard and truly believe that with what he has been going through over the last year he is in a much better place now so that give me some peace.  :)

My deepest condolences go out to Greg's family and his brothers at Twin Oaks.  Greg was a legend!  He and Anthony were the first 2 people I met from Twin Oaks while hunting at LBL many years ago.  He was intelligent, talented, a meticulous craftsman and willing to help anyone.  One one of the first few trips Greg brought some of his homemade wine which was excellent.  He gifted me a bottle and I ran back to my tent and hid it to enjoy at home.  On the ride home, my buddies confessed that they did the same thing because they wanted to savor a taste of Tennessee when they got home.  Rest well my friend and know they are telling stories of your triumphs.
