"Goose Fiddle" Box Call
« on: March 26, 2026, 12:27:21 pm »
Hello Everybody, PA forum member Kevin (aka Buffalo Gobbler) asked me to do a "Folk Art" style painting of a goose on a Goose Box Call he made. I had never heard of this style goose call. They were made from what he told me over 100 years ago. Similar to a Turkey Call. He did the carving of the head and construction of the call. All I did was paint the goose. Have a good one.

I've never heard of a goose box call either but if anyone can, Kevin can. Very nice art work on your part Brian. Well done both of you.  :OK

I have one of his box calls for turkey and it's a gobbler charmer! I'd love to take this box call out and into the goose pits!
