I figure their made to be used.Like anything else.
With the sheath made I'll move on to something else.

Got a large thick piece of beef rawhide veg tanning I'll finish up on in the next few weeks.It has a little aluminum sulfate/pickling salt in the solution too.The tannin powder will give it a nice brown color.

Very cool knives Ed!   Love the idea.   Have you taken up blacksmithing or did you purchase the blades?  Also looks like great leather work too.  Very cool.
