I started working on a sourwood shoot today. Still got a little straightening to do. Thinking of point options and fletching options.

Been working on mine at every opertunity. Spent friday evening cutting in the knock. Hope to fit the point tonight. Stain , fletch, and finish up I hope before the weekend. Was going to try, for the first time a 2 fletch but going to stick with the style I been doing for my own arrows lately.

Mounted the point last night and really thought I could finish it up, but I'm too slow. Cut the feathers to length but not to shape yet. Ran out of steam but was a good opertunity to let some sinew binding dry overnight. Just going to take my time and hope to have things complete by the weekend. I'll send you a Pm when its done Rob so I can get your mailing info.

Mike take your time I know everyone has a lot going on. If you can post pictures of the arrow that would be great I can't figure out how to post pics on here.

Just a couple sinew wraps, seal them up and done. So now for the silly question, I never sent an arrow in the mail. Was figuring a pvc pipe and cut some packing material to prevent it from moving around. Or is there a more simple solution? Had some close calls with sending bows via UPS in the past(amazing that they could break a schedule 40 threaded plug).

I'll make sure I get a few pics before I send it out Rob. Below is the backup shaft and point. Practiced a bit with the shaft and stain to see what might look good, one im sending out has a different pattern  :)

Ill make sure to do a good photo shoot Pat.

Got it narrowed down to 2 shafts, I think!  Probably a trade point, single bevel,  2 fletch.

I have Pat B’s arrow done but I have been way to busy with work and funerals to get it packed up and sent out.

Hopefully I can catch my breath here now. I sure hope I’m done with funerals for awhile

I’m hoping to get some pictures before I box it up.

I’m not forgetting about it Pat.
