removing sinew: How long can it soak?

This afternoon I put the halves of my exploded juniper/sinew bow in a bucket to soak the sinew off.  About a half hour later, my wife went crazy from the heat and decided we need to head for the mountains for a couple days.  I am agreeable to this idea, so away we go.

So, if I leave the sinew in to soak for two or three days, will that hurt anything?  The water's room temperature.  Would it be better to pull it out and let it dry again to try another day?

I would say 2 or 3 days at room temps wouldn't hurt it.

I usually slide the blade of a knife under it between the wood and sinew and separate it. If it tears the wood and some stick to it, no big deal. Then soak it when I have time to deal with it.
