Hi all as the title says I'm looking for some osage staves. It is getting very expensive to buy staves from my old sources (ebay!)...
I am looking for 10 good staves and in return I would make you a hornbow. I'm not interested in super twisty staves...they would have to be decent! Character bows are fine but when I'm building for customers I prefer to use straight wood. Let me know your draw weight/length and I will try to get close. Of course hornbows vary in weight a little during the seasons so it won't be a precise draw weight but in a ballpark. I would be happy to decorate it how you want. It will be waterproofed as far as possible, I've used mine in the pouring rain for three days straight with no problems - a good hornbow will outlive you and me!
