breakig in laminate bows?
« on: May 24, 2008, 03:15:33 pm »
is breaking in a laminate bow different from a selfbow?  Do i need to leave it strung or on full draw for any lengths of time?  I never leave my selfbows strung for any period of time. i tiller them and then shoot them 100 or so times.  Do i do anything different with a laminate?

Nope, same as a selfbow. I usually tiller my bos and leave them braced for a wle before finishing tillering. My bows are for hunting, and they'l be left strung for long periods anyway. Makes it harder to see slight changes in tiller after using a scraper though. Whatever suits you.
