Allyn, don't just take an arrow out of your quiver and send it off. Try to make one from scratch if you have the materials. If you don't go on Trading Post and see if you can get what you need. Arrows are as important if not more so than bows in the combo so learning about arrows will help you out with your information addiction.  ;)

So to clarify my question, does the shaft have to be made from scratch or could I get a shaft and then do everything else? I appreciate that hawk but I have wood laying around I just don't know how well I could turn out a shaft so if it doesn't work my backup plan would be get a shaft so I can finish it

If you have shafts just make the arrow from that. You don't have to make shafts unless you want to.
