PA Selfbow Buck
« on: November 01, 2020, 07:38:56 am »
Halloween morning. My brother (Woodstone) connected on this PA 6pt. He was shooting a 40# fumed osage selfbow (Xansati), bamboo shaft from Primitive Archer sponser Kahn's Arrows and a Meathead broadhead. Dressed weight 190#. Not a midwest giant but pretty heavy for a PA buck.

That's a great photo, well thought out and done.   Congratulations.

for him the great success you see, is not to get, but just to be,

Thank you all. A great morning indeed. My first selfbow deer. Special thanks to my brother (Pa Steve), my hunting partner and bowyer. His experience and helpful advice has been invaluable on this primitive archery journey. A fine butcher and chef as well!    :BB -C-
