Since im working on a purple leaf plum bow i would like to finish It with a purple stain to show its origine. Did annyone tried to collour its Wood with some sort of stain made from the purple leaf plum fruits?

I've used purple RIT dye on a hickory bow. It turned it very purple.

Thanks for the answers, im really looking for natural dye/cheap/free. In going to try beet sap when im rating that soon
