Well you certainly won't have any trouble with social distancing, lol. Dang you are good with leather work. I am still amazed with what you did for my grand daughter.

Glad I could make your day, bownarra.
Jon, it's my therapy. When Dylan asked if I would try to make this for him I jumped and learned a few new techniques in the process. How id Johanna's bag holding up?

She  loves it. Uses it on special occasions I think to show off with it.

I finished up this mask today. Dylan sent me some lenses from old welding/cutting goggles that I sewed into the eye holes.  Pretty damn freaky!  I'll be showing it around first before I send it to Dylan. Enjoy.

You should wear that to the grocery store, and have someone walk behind you filming people's reactions.

Thanks guys. It was a fun and instructive project. I think I'll make myself one for Halloween.

i'm glad that everyone has gotten a kick out of this thing  ;D

if your interest in wearing one is purely costuming there is another later version called a "Venetian plague doctors mask" that just covers the upper half of the face and is made from paper mache, might be more comfortable to wear at a party  ;D

Pretty cool, bet that thing would be hot to wear in Wally world but would get some strange looks which would make it worth it. ;) :)

Pappy, could you imagine how bad it was during the plague with the smells of death and the plague. I bet the lavender crammed in the beak was little help.
Clint, I can stuff my beard in the beak so I can be anonymous.
