What glue is the best to use on a leather shelf pad that you might want to remove later? Something that would clean off easily. I normally use self adhesive velcro or super glue the leather on. I'm looking on a better option to use with a leather pad.

How about hide glue? It comes off very clean with water. Depends on where you're going to use the bow though.

Contact cement. It will rub right off a bow's finish and sticks fine to Tru-Oil and poly.

+ 1 for barge cement, or other brand of contact adhesive.
For a long term bond you apply adhesive to both surfaces. For an easy to remove bond, only apply to one surface, you can peel it off by hand pressure alone.

I like Barge, you can rub most of it off and do a final cleanup with Naptha, it will remove the glue and not harm your finish.
