  thank you so much for the positive input,, hope it inspires more art work on bows,,or at least for some to try,, you can see the design on the bow on left is no paint,, just ink and the beautiful rawhide underneath,,
DC,,there are some mediums you can mix with the oil paint for it to dry faster,, and also some spray you can use,, I think its called fast dry,,
   the bow on the left turned out a bit by accident,, I glued on the rawhide with the hair on,, when I scraped it off,, it left the tree bark patternn u see,, the sinew underneath had ridges,, so it made the pattern that you see,,

Yes, love the rawhide... I backed a bow with a peace of rawhide that and it had many scars, and you could see veins in it aswell,... It was a very pretty peice
Why must we make simple things so complicated?
