so on one of my bows, the string tracks a little to the left of the handle. actually right through the arrow rest. Should i get the string to track through the center? Im trying to do a handle on the bow and i just thought that this might cause some problems if i take wood off from one side or the other.

Handle is stiff I assume. If it’s still through handle and lined up with shelf I don’t see a problem. You can shape handle towards that side or even make it a z. I would change it if it’s over edge and or slapping wrist.

My rule is if I can feel it twist in the draw, even slightly, I fix it. If not I leave it. The twist is most noticeable in the first couple inches of the draw.
