3 Points From Last Weekend

Latest made points from a small local (SC) gathering this past Sunday. All rock was heat treated. Left -> right: Mookaite, Flint River, Coral.

Good looking points, Rick. The coral looks like what we get out of the Alafia River.

Thanks. Picked the coral up at Cartersville a couple years ago. Hard to see, but there is a light rusty pink color running down one side. Looked very hard for coral polyps with a magnifying glass and am having trouble finding anything resembling one.

Nice! The left ones very pretty with all the colors! I really like the coral one too!

Rick, you won't find polyps unless someone spalling or sawing it does it in the right direction. The coral grew straight up like a plant. You have to saw or spall it across the top horizontally to get the polyps.
