Going from tiller string to stringing the bow

   That crack looks to be following the grain from here...You could just take it out...Hard to really see all the detail...

  I agree with Butch, I have seen that many times, I just remove it.

I decided to shoot it and have about 50 shots through it. I think it is a drying crack. No ka-BOOM so far.  Haven't weighed it at 27" yet. I noticed both tips  are out of alignment a little . I need to bring them back to center.

It seems very quick with a cedar shaft. May be over 50 at 27". Time will tell.

I have about 150 shots out of it. I weighed yesterday and it was 48 lbs at 27". Here is a full draw pic. Top limb is stiff off of the fade still I think. The shelf is cut in outside of center shot. I think I could go another 1/8" to make it a little more spine friendly. I'm still getting nock high flight no matter what I do with the height of the nock set.

  The bow looks good but it looks like you could still raise your nocking point a pretty good amount.

A little more off of the upper fade. The 35-40 spine cedars fly the best so far. I cut the window in just a little bit more also.
