Oops, I cut the cheese!
« on: April 30, 2019, 02:54:22 pm »
Curly ash scales, file material blade from one of our members. I asked him to make a bushcrafting at Christmas as a gift for a friend, I liked it so much that I had to have one for myself. Six and a half inch blade, a full .200 inch thick spine, and overall length of 11.75 inches. Weighing in at a solid 10.9 ounces/307 grams, this hair popping sharp will handle branch lopping, pole trimming, and batoning firewood with ease.
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

Dang skippy!  I have a rifleman's knife, a railroad spike polled 'hawk, and now this bushy knife....all with the curly ash. You sensing a theme here?

I am hoping he chimes in here and tells folks a little about the process.
